Standing on the crest of a hill, Farnham Castle is one of the most important historical buildings in the south of England. Building started in the 1100’s & it has played home to various Bishops over it’s 900 years & host to many a celebration for Kings & Queens of England. Having undergone extensive repairs & renovations, it is now a chic, contemporary wedding venue & one we were very excited to work at!
Stacie & Nino’s gorgeous late September wedding fitted in perfectly with the venue, classic, chic & stylish & it was a dream to photograph! The day started wet & miserable but by the time the Bride & Groom were saying I do the sun had come out & we were treated to a lovely warm summer’s afternoon.
Here are a few of our favourite photos from the day!
Stacie did her own make-up
The short walk from the Gatehouse where Stacie got ready to the ceremony room!
The ceremony took place in the beautifully decorated Lantern Hall. Contemporary on the inside you would never know you were inside a castle as you said your vows!
The stunning Farnham Castle! The day started with rain but by the time the guests were due to enjoy post-ceremony drinks on the great lawn the sun had come out. Perfect timing!
Whist Stacie & Nino were having their photos taken, their guests enjoyed Pimms & lemonade in the sunshine!
Wisteria Green decorated the Great Hall for the wedding breakfast with gorgeous summer blooms perfectly!
Both father’s gave moving speeches whilst Nino’s best man, his brother Pino, brought some humour to the proceedings & in typical best man fashion embarrassed the groom with his stories!
The beautiful wedding cake was created by Cakes by Caroline Look at the detail on the bottom layer!
Stacie & Nino, thank you for allowing us to share your beautiful day with you!
