We were absolutely delighted to photograph the Crystal Palace Overground Festival again this year – and what a fabulous weekend! The weather was GORGEOUS (well, apart from a little rain on Sunday morning but we quickly dried off!) and Crystal Palace was rocking all weekend.
Here are a few of our favourite photos from the four day extravaganza!
The fab Electric Palace Open Air Cinema showing The Fisher King under the stars in Coopers Yard, complete with the grand red carpet entrance!
The Singular Exploits of Sherlock Holmes celebrating the work of South Norwood resident Arthur Conran Doyle at The Stanley Halls.
Anerley Town Hall saw a supporting performance by improvisational sound ensemble Ampersand…
…Before the headliners and Crystal Palace Overground Festival regulars Metamono brought their pure analogue “technopop from another planet of the imagination” in 360 degrees light and sound to the crowds. Wow! That is all that is needed to be said…
Saturday and Westow Park was heaving! The sunshine saw thousands grab a blanket and picnic and come out for an afternoon of fun!
Soundtracks III saw Crystal Palace Railway Station become a concert hall as string quartets, sopranos and singer made the most of the stunning acoustics in the grand ticket hall. What a fabulous location for listening to some impromptu music!
This dog was waiting patiently in line for his Pimms and lemonade at Vintage up the Palace on Sunday…!
Vintage up the Palace saw Crystal Palace Gardens transformed into a wonderful vintage and heritage fair with some dressed in their best vintage attire!
Swing Patrol gave festival goers a chance to show off their dance steps and to learn some new ones!
Crystal Palace’s Harriet Eaves performs her jazz numbers on the main stage.
A little tired, a little pink (hello sunshine…) but smiling after a fabulous weekend! Back to weddings and corporate head shots this week…!
