This was our second visit to Ridge Farm & I think it is fast becoming one of our favourite wedding venues!
It’s a beautiful farm hidden away on the Surrey-Sussex border on the edge of Dorking & the Surrey Hills with an illustrious past. In 1975 a barn at the farm became one of the first residential recording studios in the UK hosting artists such as Roxy Music, Queen and Ozzy Osbourne. In the early 00’s it closed it’s doors as a recording studio & over time transformed itself into one of Surrey’s premier wedding locations.
On this Saturday in September it was the venue for Hannah & Dan’s wedding & I can genuinely say this was one of the most fun wedding’s that we have ever had the pleasure to shoot! Both Hannah & Dan were very relaxed & laid back with a great sense of humour. The day was a party & all about their guests having fun & enjoying themselves. And that they did!
Just a small selection of our favourite photos!
Ally & AJ
The Bridal cottage where Hannah & her bridesmaids got ready on the morning of the wedding.
Instead of the traditional British first dance, Hannah & Dan did a Polish candle dance. They started with one lit candle & gradually lit the candles of their guests so that everyone was dancing, outside, in candlelight.
Then the music started & the dance floor filled!
