A little over a year ago Luke surprised Jess with a trip, told her she had an hour to pack her bag & whisked her off to Ireland. Having been together for five years her sister and best friend told her she should do her nails as ‘he was going to propose…’
Nothing happened the first night, Jess thought maybe her sister and friend were wrong.
In the chill of the early morning they went to watch the sunrise over the lake. Jess was wrapped up in hoody to keep her warm when Luke got down on one knee and asked her to marry him! Among the tears she said yes and they celebrated as the sun rose with champagne drunk out of mugs as the hotel room had no glasses!
We met Jess and Luke six or so months into their engagement & immediately LOVED the sound of their wedding. A real London celebration with the ceremony at the same Church in Soho that Jess’s parents married in and reception (that sounds more like a party!) in a contemporary Liverpool Street bar.
We met up with them for their engagement shoot last month. Starting off in Golden Square, a small Soho square at the back of the Church they will be marrying, in before heading over to their reception venue to finish the shoot in the shadow of the Gerkin. What an absolutely fabulous afternoon, Jess & Luke, if this shoot is anything to go by, your wedding is going to be AMAZING! Stunning venues, the London skyline and a gorgeous couple to boot!
