We love sharing beautiful summer weddings on dull January days. There’s something about the sunshine, blue skies, flowers & greenery that cheers up the greyest of months!
Amy & Patrick could not have picked a more gorgeous summer’s day for their August wedding. To be honest, getting married in August in the UK can be a little hit & miss… technically it’s summer but we all know how the British weather likes to fool us during the summer months! But this day was glorious, sunshine, blue skies & hot, hot temperatures.
The traditional wedding ceremony was held at the lovely village style St Mary the Virgin Church in Horsell village, Surrey. Amy was walked in, as is customary, by her Dad to be greeted by her groom at the end of the aisle. Both were full of smiles throughout the vows!
After leaving to a shower of confetti the wedding reception was held at a private house in Horsell, Surrey. Set in stunning grounds surrounded by tall trees, guests were treated to drinks & canapés on the patio before a family style feast was served in the covered barn ahead of an evening of drinks & dancing!
A truly wonderful day! Amy & Patrick, congratulations on your marriage, thank you for letting us share your special day, here are just a few of our favourite photos!
